Autonomous infrastructure, control and substrates.

Decision, stability, containment and evidence research for autonomous infrastructure — plus operating-system, network and speculative substrate directions. These are research and engineering foundations, not experimentally validated results.

Control research foundationsSystems and network researchSpeculative substrate · no silicon

This family covers the control side of the platform research: how a decision is constrained by invariants, how stability and safe regions are reasoned about, how confidence is stated without overclaiming calibration, how containment and recovery are framed, and how decisions, execution and outcomes stay linked as evidence.

Several entries are engineering foundations that also inform product direction. Where a public product or repository page exists it is linked as context, but no entry claims independent experimental validation, a production qualification or a benchmark.

The operating-system, network and alternative-substrate entries at the end of the page are early research directions. The OcharoZ Cosmos Processor in particular is explicitly speculative: no physical silicon exists.

Control and decision research

The control foundations underneath autonomous infrastructure: constrained decisions, multi-resource allocation, stability and safe-region reasoning, confidence, containment, authorization, reconciliation, certification, evidence continuity and temporal coordination. These entries describe formulations and directions, not validated controllers.

Invariant–Dynamic Machine (IDM)

The Invariant–Dynamic Machine research direction studies how a decision system can adapt to changing operational conditions without losing the explicit constraints it is required to respect.

IDM is documented here as a research and engineering foundation. The internal formulation and decision mechanism are not published. The public product register carries whatever implementation maturity exists; this entry does not claim independent experimental validation or a published benchmark.

IDM-MR multi-resource allocation

IDM-MR studies multi-resource allocation in contexts where several competing demands must be coordinated while explicit constraints remain satisfied.

The entry records a research direction, not an experimentally validated allocator. No benchmark, production result or comparison with established schedulers is claimed, and the allocation mechanism is not published.

Lyapunov-inspired stability models

This research direction borrows a conceptual vocabulary from stability theory to ask whether a controlled system tends back toward a safe operating region after a disturbance.

The work does not claim a formal stability proof for any deployed system, and no experimental convergence result or production control-loop evidence is presented. The underlying models are not published here.

Control Lyapunov and Control Barrier Function concepts

This direction explores how safe-region reasoning connects to invariant preservation: when a system remains inside its permitted region, and when a corrective action becomes necessary.

The entry is a research direction. The specific formulation is not published, the concepts are not claimed to be implemented in the platform, and no formal guarantee or validated controller result is asserted.

Confidence estimation

Confidence-estimation research asks how a decision system should state how much confidence it has, and what that statement is actually worth. A score is not automatically a calibrated probability, and presenting it as one would overclaim.

The research is recorded at research maturity. No calibrated estimator, validation study or measured reliability diagram is claimed here; the public product entry states its own limits.

Immune-inspired containment and recovery

Immune-inspired containment uses immune-system metaphors as a research framing for detecting pressure, containing a suspect component, and admitting work again only when recovery is justified rather than merely requested.

The metaphor is organisational, not biological. No biological claim, validated detection rate or production containment result is presented, and the relationship to the k=9 state vocabulary is a research connection.

Safe degradation in runtime control

This entry frames safe degradation as a runtime control obligation rather than a verification result. Deciding that a reduced mode is admissible, applying it under authority, and recovering only after fresh verification are separate responsibilities.

It is an engineering foundation that connects the published λ-safe research to runtime control. No production runtime degradation enforcement is claimed, and no experimental validation of the control loop is asserted.

Runtime authorization

Runtime-authorization research separates permission from capability. A system may be technically able to perform an action while not being authorized to do so, and the research asks how that distinction is represented and checked at the point of action.

The entry is a research direction within the platform engineering foundations. It does not claim a public authorization protocol, a completed implementation or an independent security evaluation.

Adaptive reconciliation

Adaptive reconciliation research concerns what happens after an action has been taken: comparing observed state with intended state, detecting divergence, and deciding whether to correct, contain or escalate.

It is an engineering foundation. No production reconciler, measured detection latency or recovery rate is claimed, and the entry does not present reconciliation as a substitute for independent observation.

Decision certification

Decision-certification research asks how a decision can be recorded together with the constraints and evidence that justified it, so that a reviewer can examine the basis later instead of trusting an outcome flag.

The entry records a research direction about decision records. No certification standard, regulator approval, validated audit method or production evidence chain is claimed.

Evidence and audit continuity

Evidence and audit continuity is the research question of whether decision, execution and outcome records remain linked and inspectable over time. Evidence that cannot be connected to the action it describes is weak evidence.

This is a research direction. It makes no claim of tamper-evidence, independent attestation, regulatory acceptance or a production audit trail.

Temporal coordination

Temporal-coordination research treats cadence, ordering and deadlines as governed concerns. When an action occurs, how often it may recur and how it relates to other actions are part of the control problem, not incidental details of a scheduler.

The entry is a research direction. No temporal protocol, formal timing guarantee or validated scheduler is claimed, and the connection to rhythmic computing is a research relationship.

Operating systems and network architecture

Operating-system and network architecture research directions recorded as proposals. Neither entry describes a shipped production system; the MZiNG product page carries its own public scope.

NiGeNje OS / NAOS

NiGeNje OS and NAOS are recorded as operating-system and node-architecture research directions. The material around them is specification and proposal work, not a shipped operating system.

No production OS, distributor release, support commitment or qualification is claimed. The entry records an active architecture direction and states plainly that it is not a production system.

MZiNG Network

MZiNG Network is network architecture research associated with the MZiNG change-assurance line. It explores how network change can be admitted and evaluated against declared invariants rather than applied and hoped for.

This is research, not a production network product. The linked product page carries the public scope and maturity statement; no independent evaluation or production deployment is claimed here.

Speculative hardware research. This entry is included so the portfolio is complete, and it is labelled at the weakest truthful maturity: no silicon exists.

OcharoZ Cosmos Processor

OcharoZ Cosmos Processor is speculative hardware research into an alternative computing substrate. It is recorded here as a long-horizon research direction, not as a processor that exists.

No physical silicon has been fabricated, no prototype has been demonstrated and no performance, power or correctness result is claimed. Any relationship to the k=9 state representation or the NiZiNG mathematical model is a research proposition only.

What this page does not establish. None of the control research has been experimentally validated in the sense of a controlled study or an independently reproduced benchmark. Where implementations exist, the public product register states their maturity and limits. The operating-system and substrate directions are research, and any relationship between them and the control formulations is a proposition, not a demonstrated result.
