Help Build the Future of Governed Infrastructure
NiGeNje is an early-stage platform for intent- and invariant-governed control of autonomous and distributed systems. The difficult parts — formal constraints, compiler support, runtime enforcement, evidence and operational reliability — get tested properly when more than one engineer works on them.
Who this invitation is for
Engineers and researchers who work on the same problems.
The list is indicative, not exclusive. If your work touches controlled execution, invariant preservation or the evidence that follows an action, it probably belongs here.
Distributed systems engineers
Coordination, partial failure, replication and the boundary between a decision and its execution.
Backend and platform engineers
Service architecture, APIs, integration boundaries and the infrastructure that keeps them dependable.
AI infrastructure developers
Model serving, tool invocation, agent runtimes and the control points around autonomous action.
Formal methods researchers
Specifications, invariants, state-transition models and what an analysis can honestly establish.
Compiler and programming-language engineers
Turning declared intent and constraints into checkable artifacts, including contract compilation.
Security and reliability specialists
Identity, permits, replay protection, evidence integrity, fail-closed behaviour and safe degradation.
DevOps and SRE practitioners
Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, observability, release control and operational realism.
Academic researchers
Systems, programming languages, verification and governance research with a concrete evaluation path.
Enterprise design partners
A real boundary, a real action class and a bounded non-production evaluation with defined evidence.
Technology organizations
Integration, evaluation, interoperability and shared applied research where the scopes align.
Collaboration paths
Concrete ways to contribute.
Each path has a scope and a review process. None of them is an open-ended commitment, and none creates an entitlement to compensation or access.
- 01
Engineering contributions
Scoped implementation work against a defined interface or component, reviewed like any other change.
- 02
Technical evaluation
Run a bounded evaluation against explicit criteria, including the parts that do not work.
- 03
Research collaboration
Joint work on invariants, safe degradation, compiler support or governance models, with publication boundaries agreed first.
- 04
Open-source participation where permitted
Some work can be public. Platform repositories are private, and each engagement states what may be shared.
- 05
Integration development
Adapters and connectors behind the control boundary, tested against the current contracts.
- 06
Testing and documentation
Reproduction cases, failure analysis and documentation that states limits as plainly as capabilities.
- 07
Design-partner engagement
A staged, non-production programme with a specific problem and a decision at the end of each stage.
How to start
A specific problem, the evidence, and a bounded evaluation.
The first message should be small enough to answer. It does not need a proposal, a résumé or a commitment — it needs a problem and something verifiable about it.
- 01
Name a specific problem
A system boundary, an action class, an invariant or a failure mode. Not a general request for information.
- 02
Bring evidence
What you have built, what failed, what you measured or what you can reproduce. An unresolved limitation is useful evidence.
- 03
Agree a bounded evaluation
A defined scope, duration and evidence standard, written before work starts. Either side can stop at the end.

What this page does not promise.
Collaboration is a working relationship with a written scope, not a recruitment pipeline or a grant programme. This page does not promise employment, compensation or equity, and it does not claim that every project is open source. Where a contribution cannot be accepted, that is stated rather than left open.
- No offer of employment, compensation or equity is made or implied by collaborating.
- Not every project is open source. Platform repositories are private and access is scoped.
- No guaranteed response time, publication commitment or commercial arrangement is offered here.
- Collaboration is not a proxy for hiring. Current hiring status is stated on the careers page.
